This fan has been custom designed for the DRPC-242 series of embedded systems.
It adds additional cooling where higher watt CPUs are used or where no external airflow is present or to allow the system to operate in a warmer environment.
This fan might not be needed in colder environments with systems fitted with 35W TDP CPUs or where other sources of airflow over the unit is present.
