This 8.4" Panel PC is based on an Elkhart Lake J6412 CPU. The J6412 CPU provides reasonable speed while requiring very little power and therefore generates very little heat so fan less cooling is all that is needed. It includes 2x full length M.2 slots providing1x M.2 B-key for IO cards and and 1x M.2 M-key for NVME SSD cards. Externally there are 2x LAN, 2x serial and 4x USB ports. This is an ideal solution for applications that need a small size HMI and or an edge device with reasonable processing power.
Being so compact there is no space to add an custom IEI IP2EHL_XC based card even though the side IP2EHL_XC connector is present on the motherboard.
For applications that require adding an IP2EHL_XC card please consider the same in 10.4" or 12.1" (PPC2-C10-EHL or PPC2-C12-EHL)
