The original NVIDIA Jetson series of AI Edge computers was released in 2019. NIVDIA released the substantially faster ORIN series in 2023. Edge computing entails the real time processing of the data right at the source (camera for example). The Jetson ORIN series has 3 different processor options starting at the the entry level ORIN NANO , followed by the faster ORIN NX and ending at the top end ORIN AGX. There are different RAM size options available for the different models as well. They use an ARM processor for overall management and communications with the outside world and a combination of GPU processors to perform the AI edge processing.
